Palmer Communication Contest Winners Announced SCHAUMBURG, IL – The Illinois Woman’s Press Association, an affiliate of the National Federation of Press Women (NFPW), honored 33 members for 115 winning entries in the 2010 Mate E. Palmer Communication Contest at its May 15 Awards Luncheon and 125th Anniversary celebration, hosted at the Union League Club in Chicago. Marianne Wolf earned 1st Place in the Short Story Category for Alpha Male, published by Outrider Press. Marianne Wolf has been awarded 1st Place in the national short story (single story or collection) category by the NFPW for Alpha Male published in the anthology, Fearsome Fascinations (2009) by Outrider Press. She has been selected the 2008 Communicator of Achievement for IWPA. Also, Marianne's work was honored in 5 categories of the 2008 Mate E. Palmer Communications Contest. |
