National Award Winner Headlines TallGrass
Writers' Open Mic

Marianne Wolf, recognized locally, regionally and nationally for her
writing, will be Featured Author at TallGrass Writers Guild's
October 28 Open Mic, held upstairs at The Bourgeois Pig, 738
W. Fullerton, Chicago. The number there is 773-883-5282.Wolf,
secretary of the TallGrass Guild and editor of JOLIET, has won
numerous awards for her fiction and creative nonfiction, and will
provide a sampling of her work at 7:30 pm. Following her
appearance is the regularly scheduled Open Mic, where everyone
is welcome to present up to 10 minutes of poetry, fiction,
nonfiction, music, comedy and more. Sign-up to read starts at
7pm. Cover charge for Ms. Wolf's presentation + the Open Mic is
$6 reduced to $5 for students. TallGrass Writers Guild is a
